If you watch TV or surf the Internet, you must have heard açaí fruit. It is a South American Acai Berry was propagated that the new super-food. Many celebrities have testimonies to the power of açaí, and it was in all kinds of products from juices to weight loss supplements. The product manufacturers claim that it tastes, and that they help people more energy, combating diseases, and also lose weight. So what is the Berry, and why is it so popular, although it is still very new on the American market?
